There was an appetite from department heads to develop their teams themselves using team meetings, and to train on small things internally.

Train the Trainer

We worked together to tailor our Train the Trainer programme so that it covered analysis of training need, design, delivery and evaluation but wrapped in values alignment and helping leaders link their team training to the company purpose.

Hello Fresh wanted to offer a set of learning interventions that team members could pick from to develop themselves based on their own assessment of needs. Having worked together on Train the Trainer, Hannah reached out for some mentoring and strategy support. This has evolved over time based on engagement data and team feedback that Hello Fresh have received.

Learning & Development Strategy support & workshop delivery

We co created the plan for a suite of interventions that included coaching, various workshops and asynchronous ‘pull’ activities for team and personal development. This was all backed up and supported by their leadership programme ‘Hello People.’ We later added ‘Hello Team’ as a result of further analysis, a workshop that developed team communication, team work and ultimately team effectiveness. 

We use the insights methodology to surface any challenges and get people entering into useful dialogue and feedback to overcome challenges. The team come out of the session with a charter that they’ve all signed up to and managers get additional support and a tool kit to keep the learning going. We have held these workshops with 8 teams so far and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
